The three 'founders' are going to be the admins of the site, and the position of Alpha wolf is uncertain as of yet...

Wow this is long. Went a bit overboard here... Well it's only the back story. We'll make a shorter version for advertising etc. This version can simply be for your reading pleasure lol

Nobody knows for sure how long vampires and werewolves have coexisted with humans, or how the first ones came to be. Humans, on the rare occasion that a genuine example is found, decide automatically that they are abominations and must be destroyed. Similarly, it is unknown when, or even why, the long-enduring feud between the vampires and the werewolves first began.
Pressure on both species began to grow over the years. The vampires were feeling tensions from both sides. Their population was growing for a variety of reasons, however much they tried to keep it down. The immortals would occasionally find a lover among the race of humans and turn them, so they could be together for eternity. But even a few years tended to be too much, and the two would separate—perhaps to find another lover. Vampires are selfish creatures, and mostly solitary, save for small groups of two or three. They did not care to think of their race long-term. But when hunting became more difficult, because of territorial vampires who claimed cities for themselves, or groups of humans came dangerously close to discovering their secrets, the vampires finally realized that something was wrong with their way of life. At the same time, the werewolf population was growing even faster, since their gene could be transferred by both bites and offspring. This too spelled trouble for the vampires, since the werewolves were the only living thing that could match a vampire in a fair fight.

Over several years, three centuries-old vampires, a set of a brother and two sisters, came up with their own plan. Darius, Lenora, and Mariasha formulated a plan to create a city of their own—a city solely for vampires. Of course, the need to feed regularly on blood was the problem that they needed to work on for quite a while. Eventually they came up with the solution. Partly for revenge for years of being feared and hated, partly out of the simple need for blood, and partly for their own amusement, their decision was made. They would bring a large number of humans at their prime into their shining new City, and keep them as blood-slaves. The three travelled around the world, tracking down the vampires with connections and requesting that they spread the word of Scarlet City. Not all vampires agreed to journey to their City, but most jumped at the chance for safety from humans and werewolves, and the opportunity to lord it over the humans who had forced them into hiding for so long. Soon, Scarlet City was a grand city with every comfort, governed by their self-instated Highnesses, Queen Mariasha, Queen Lenora, and King Darius. The use of humans as blood-slaves caught on and then evolved. Humans were now captured in great numbers from far and wide, never enough from one place to raise suspicion. They were then given various tasks such as blood slavery, maid service, and hard labour. Someone soon had the idea that the humans should produce children for them, who would then grow up to be sold into slavery in turn. There are varying opinions in the City to do with these practices, but most negative opinions are shot down.

As Scarlet City grew and prospered in secrecy, the werewolves were having problems of their own. With the vampires, their only fair match and main enemies, suddenly and inexplicably gone, their population began to rise. Fierce battles for territory broke out among packs, and the bitten mutts who were unable to control their instincts attacked humans and other werewolves indiscriminately. It was only a matter of time before the humans became aware of their presence, and they did not have to wait long. A group of college students were attacked by a non-pack werewolf during the full moon. Most of the group managed to escape, and they met again to discuss and confirm what they had witnessed. They managed to convince quite a large group of people of the existence of werewolves. Most of the world of course had no idea, and dismissed it as a hoax or a cult. But the ever-growing group was enough to seriously alarm the werewolf population. United once again against the common threat, they began to get worried. And their fears were confirmed when the group took up arms and began to lead werewolf hunts. They were most often successful, having technology to aid them, as well as their silver bullets and various other silver weapons. The wolves began to draw closer together, and went into hiding. They elected a main Alpha to decide on a plan. The Alpha had his own ideas of where the vampires had gone, and he immediately started an investigation into the whereabouts of their mysterious city, only heard of in passing rumours.

Meanwhile, the vampires, who had some knowledge of the outside world, had heard of this new society which claimed the existence of werewolves. The founders knew that this was no ridiculous cult. They sent out an envoy to the werewolves who were so futilely attempting to sniff out their city, asking what they needed from Scarlet City and why they were searching for them. The two races made a deal: there would be no more war between the species of vampire and werewolf. Scarlet City would open their gates and offer their security to the werewolves, shielding them with their advanced technology, mind power, and inhuman strength. The werewolves would be allowed almost every privilege exercised by the vampires in the City. They would be allowed to own slaves, for whatever reasons they wished since they did not require blood. They could attend all events, celebrations, parties, stores, and balls held in the City. Their limitations were that they had to live in designated buildings, which included apartments and condos in a specific district, collectively “the Wolf Den”. They also have to put up with the slave trade industry, no matter how they feel about the treatment of the humans. And if a vampire needed something done during the hours of daylight that they could not trust a human slave with, the wolves have to oblige them. This deliberate placing of werewolves directly beneath the status of vampires is the price they have to pay for their protection. Werewolves if may also take on jobs as daylight police and doctors. This difference in status causes a lot of inter-species tension, and fights break out occasionally between the two.
